What is the Softlid mask?
A cordless, rechargeable heated eye mask that gives you a steady warm compress for dry, tired eyes. Choose from 3 heat levels, and it switches itself off after 15 minutes, so there's no microwave, no reheating and no cords.
How is it different from a washcloth or microwave mask?
A wet washcloth cools within a couple of minutes, and microwave masks start too hot and fade fast. Softlid holds an even warmth for the whole session, so you can actually do the 10 to 15 minutes that warm compresses are meant to take.
How warm does it get?
There are 3 heat levels: about 95°F, 104°F and 113°F (35°C, 40°C and 45°C). Start on the lowest setting and only go up if it feels comfortable.
How do I use it?
Charge it with the included USB-C cable. Put it on, press the button to choose a heat level, and relax. It turns itself off after 15 minutes. Many people use it in the evening, the morning, or both.
Can I wash it?
Yes. The soft outer cover comes off for washing. We recommend hand washing it in cool water with mild soap and letting it dry completely before putting it back on. The inner heating part has a built-in battery, so never put it in water. Just wipe it with a slightly damp cloth.
How long does the battery last?
The 600mAh battery gives you about 10 to 15 sessions per charge, so with daily use you'll charge it roughly once a week.
Is it safe?
It switches itself off automatically after 15 minutes. Don't sleep in it, and don't use it on broken skin. If you've had recent eye surgery, have an eye infection, or have any medical condition affecting your eyes or skin sensation, check with your eye doctor before using any warm compress.
Will it cure my dry eyes?

Can I use it with eye drops or contact lenses?
Remove contact lenses before using the mask. You can keep using your usual drops; many people use the mask alongside them.
